[The next delivery, Ronan leaves on the doorstep without going inside.

Tucked away among bandages and antibiotics and epipens is a small box, a rusted gold carved with impossibly ornate detail on the outside. When opened it plays a soft tune, like a music box- except the music sounds as if there was somehow a small harp tucked inside, playing in a melancholy rhythm. Instead of a dancer or ballerina, the music box props open a small display of maple trees, so intricate that they have to somehow be real, miniature versions of actual trees, with delicate leaves that can be plucked off and branches that can be broken with an unruly hand.

It evokes a feeling of calm more than anything. A peaceful walk through the woods, a reason not to get angry.

Attached is a note in Ronan's sloppy scrawl, that only says thanks. For help with his arm, probably. For help with Adam's recent injuries, more likely. This event can't have been easy on their poor doctor.]
